No messing, just a simple serving suggestion.
You need:
- 1 pack of unearthed Italian Salami Milano
- 4 large tomatoes
- 200g buffalo Mozzarella
Slice the tomatoes and Mozzarella and lay with the Salami on a large plate, in a pretty pattern of your choosing. If you want to do the Italian flag then use fresh basil leaves for green, but make sure you serve it with people sitting on both sides so you don’t have to remember which order the colours go in!
I like pesto stirred through olive oil with this platter. In a little dish on the side. With one of those tiny, tiny, tiny ladle spoons.
Green olives with tasty strips of sun dried tomatoes. An uncomplicated marriage of the slight bitterness of olives with the sweetness of tomatoes. Sometimes the simplest things work the best.
Currently available in Waitrose and Ocado.
